Where to Give
The Hawaii Baptist Foundation can accept and administer gifts to a wide variety of Christian causes. And you can be the first to designate a new cause.
Amongst the many causes we encourage Hawaii Baptists to support are:
Hawaii Pacific Baptist Churches. The Foundation receives gifts that go immediately to named churches or that endow general or specific ministries of churches. An endowment grows from earnings and 5% of the balance is distributed annually to the church for the named ministry.
Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention. The effectiveness of the HPBC can be increased by the prudent use of funds given through the Foundation, designated for general or specific purposes at the HPBC.
Hawaii Baptist Academy. HBA is in need of scholarship support and funds with which to build new facilities. One option is to add to the HBA Student Scholarship Endowment Fund that was established with an initial contribution from the Foundation. The fund grows from investment income and new contributions. Each year 5% of the fund is distributed to HBA for student scholarships.
Sue Nishikawa State Missions Offering Endowment Fund. An initial contribution from the Foundation established this fund that contributes 5% of its balance to the annual State Missions Offering, named for our beloved Sue Saito Nishikawa. The fund grows with investment income and contributions from Hawaii Baptists.
Annie Armstrong North American Missions Offering Endowment Fund. The Foundation will accept contributions to an endowment fund which distributes 5% of its balance to the annual Annie Armstrong Offering. The fund grows from earnings and new contributions.
Lottie Moon International Missions Offering Endowment Fund. The Foundation will accept contributions to an endowment fund which distributes 5% of its balance to the annual Lottie Moon Offering. The fund grows from earnings and new contributions.
